The Behringer HM300 Heavy Metal is a compact high-gain distortion effect clearly inspired by the sound of a more famous pedal effect from Japan. It offers uncombed aggressive distortion plus the ability to adjust output volume, distortion intensity and sound character via a two-band EQ. A definite plus, as with all Behringer products, is the price/performance ratio. A 9V battery or 9V adapter (not included) is required to power the pedal.
