The Behringer DR18SUB is a 2400 W active 18" PA subwoofer with built-in stereo crossover.
The DR18SUB 2400 W active subwoofer provides perfect low frequency reproduction and the built-in stereo crossover makes this subwoofer ideal for use with any active two-way speakers. Featuring a revolutionary Class-D amplifier and state-of-the-art DSP technology, the DR18SUB gives you incredible sonic performance in an easy-to-use, ultra-portable and lightweight package. The built-in intelligent limiter gives your subwoofer full burnout protection and maintains stable operation throughout the night.
The DR18SUB features symmetrical inputs and outputs (4 x XLR) and selectable output modes for different preferences. In Link mode, signals are transmitted to the satellite speakers over the full frequency range, while in Xover mode only signals above the crossover cutoff frequency are transmitted to the satellite speakers. This can be set between 90 Hz and 120 Hz using the switch. The Level potentiometer controls the input gain and the Phase switch reverses the output phase to compensate for frequency interference between the subwoofer and satellite speakers. LED indicators show operational status at a glance, including power, signal present and input overload. This feature set is further complemented by an RMS/Peak limiter that provides maximum protection for the LF converter.
The DR18SUB can achieve extremely high sound pressure levels, up to 129 dB over a frequency range of 30 to 150 Hz. A standard 35 mm rod socket (nest) helps you mount the satellite speakers on a rod directly into the subwoofer.
