Roland V71 Drum Module

The Roland V-71 drum module is the centerpiece of the new V-Drums 7 Series and is the most advanced sound module Roland has ever created. It features an all-new integrated sound library, recorded in collaboration with DW, and offers instrument sounds not found in any of the previous modules. What's more, the palette of sounds can be continually expanded thanks to Roland Cloud Ultimate storage, which you get a six-month membership to when you buy the module. You'll get access to V-Drums Expansions, V-Drums Kit Packs, and DW Soundworks software that lets you drum virtually on your computer. If this range of sounds still isn't enough for you, the module supports the ability to import your own samples.

All sounds can then be freely edited using the innovative V-Edit tools, allowing you to go in depth and adjust all the parameters of individual drums and cymbals. Here you can adjust the type of membrane, the level of damping, tuning, microphone distance and much more. The module is also equipped with high-end sound processing tools powered by a new, extremely powerful DSP processor. There's an equalizer and compressor to adjust both individual pads and the entire drum kit, reverb, modern multi-effects and ambient tools to adjust room acoustics and drum position. You can also now conveniently edit the sound in the V71 Editor, a free download available on Roland Cloud.

The V71 module also offers wireless connectivity and a wealth of connectivity options. It features a built-in wireless adapter for connecting to a WiFi network, making it easy to access Roland Cloud storage. Bluetooth is also available, allowing you to jam with songs on your phone or practice with video lessons. On the rear panel, you'll find 4 balanced outputs (2x XLR, 2x 6.3mm Jack) for professional audio connections and 8 direct outputs for signals from individual pads. There are also three high-speed USB inputs that support Roland's advanced digital pads and 14 analog inputs compatible with standard V-Pads. There's also a stereo mix input for connecting external equipment, a footswitch connector and traditional MIDI I/O for connecting MIDI hardware.

The module's controls are intuitive and easy navigation is provided by a large 4.3-inch color display. Whatever your ideas of what you want your rig to sound like, the wide range of settings and customization options allow you to create exactly the sound you deep down dream of.
