Typical American stratocaster from the late 70s and early 80s ("S" serial number). A ringing guitar with a heavy ash body and a big ringing tone.
The potentiometer date, 10th week of 1981, refines the information on the exact year of manufacture. The pickups are original Fender already with plastic bottom.
Everything is original, the guitar has obviously had regular servicing related to normal use. The electronics are more recently soldered, the neck pocket is lined with a thin veneer for a better neck fit (typical just for the late 70s), the zero fret is probably newer (very minor repair in the paint around it), the pickguard cracked and glued in several places.
