The body of the guitar is made of solid walnut. The sound quality of the guitar is elevated to a higher level by the patented V-Class ribbing, which increases the volume of the instrument, extends the sustain and improves intonation. The mahogany neck is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty frets. Stable tuning is ensured by the Taylor string attachment and ebony fingerboard. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the glossy lacquer and Shaded Edgeburst finish of the soundboard, pearl rosette (abalone), white body binding, decorative position markers on the fretboard in imitation mother-of-pearl and pickguard in imitation tortoiseshell.
This is a completely unique pickup method that takes the possibilities of realistic sound reproduction to unprecedented dimensions. Three specially designed independent piezoelectric pickups located behind the fingerboard are used for pickups. Unlike conventional pickups, they don't sense the up and down movement of the board, but the natural back and forth vibration of the grasshopper seat. This makes the sound much more natural, colourful and pleasing, and more responsive to the dynamics of your playing. At the same time, the new preamp makes the signal 25% stronger. Of course, feedback is eliminated and you can adjust the volume, bass and treble.
