The Fender 60 Telecaster NOS FAWT Matching Headstock is an instrument from the Fender Custom Shop. This is an instrument made to the same specifications as the vintage original models, including the NOS (New Old Stock) finish.
The alder body of the guitar is adorned with an Arctic White finish. The neck with a "60s Style Oval C" profile is made of maple. The fingerboard is divided by twenty-one Medium Jumbo (6150) frets.
The two hand-wound single-coil HW 50-51 Blackguard pickups offer the same specs as the early 50s pickups, i.e. Alnico magnets (3 and 5) with a larger diameter than today's standard and slightly thinner wire used for winding, giving the guitar the pure raw sound of early 50s Telecasters. You can adjust its shape using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and three-position pickup switch.
The strings are anchored in vintage-style tuning machines via a bone fretboard and a classic Telecaster "ashtray" bridge through the body. The stylish look is accentuated by a 64 Telecaster Parchment pickguard.
The guitar is supplied in a case with a guitar strap and certificate of authenticity.
