Stratocaster from the Fender Custom Shop. It has a double lacquer finish, just like the now sought after custom painted instruments had, the body is Olympic White, with a three-tone Sunburst underneath that peeks through the hilarious factory distressing. The body is finished in Relic, the hardware is patinated only lightly at the Closet Classic level.
The body of the guitar is made of two pieces of ash. The Relic finish offers from the headstock to the headstock authentic elements of the wear associated with frequent gigging and travel, giving a brand new instrument the look and feel of guitars that have been around for years. The '60s Style Oval "C" profile neck is made from a single piece of maple. Twenty-one vintage-size frets and black micarta position dots divide the fingerboard surface.
Three single-coil Strat Fat 50's give the guitar an authentic Fender Strat tone and feel. Adjust the character of the sound with the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and five-position pickup switch. The strings are mounted across the bone zero fret in matching vintage-style tuning machines and an equally stylish synchronized tremolo. The guitar is supplied in a case.
