This set includes the VL-502 amp along with a 4x12" A beveled box and a 4x12" B straight box. Everything spent most of its time in the 1st owner's living room, which is where the set came from. Designed by Lee Jackson, the amp offers 50 watts of tube power.
The "VL" inside the model designation stands for VERY LOUD, the design comes from Ampeg in the manual for the amp claiming that no other amp will offer you such high distortion at such low noise. The amp has 2 channels, each with its own reverb level. The included period Crate switch lets you choose between a "clean one" and a "dirty one" sound. You can connect one or both 2x12" boxes with Celestion speakers using the included professional cabling, as desired. On top of that, this full stack includes luxurious details like an amp lock, convenient casters or a backlit Ampeg logo.
Overall excellent condition! Really the only, and pretty insignificant damage can be found on the underside of the B box (slightly scuffed tolex).
A collector's item. This is of course a used item, sold under the BAZAAR VAT regime.
