The four most famous brands from this era are largely Fernandes guitars (along with Tokai, Greco, Aria II). The brand was founded in 1969 and has been operating under the Fernandes name since 1972. Originally focused on the production of flamenco instruments, it gradually began to copy a large number of well-known models from popular brands, Fender as Fernandes, Gibson as Burny.
The period 1978-81 is the most sought after era for Fernandes and is characterized by the use of the so-called "Stone logo", also known as the "Ishi" logo in Japanese, and this guitar is also included in this period. The body of the instrument is made of Japanese hay (a quality wood similar in sound to both alder and maple), the neck is maple with a rosewood fingerboard (vintage radius 7.25"). It is equipped with very well made (replicated) hardware.
Everything looks original except for one switch, which we replaced. We completely disassembled and lubricated the tremolo. The instrument adjusted is ready to play, just like the other instruments in the Boutique department.
There is scuffed and worn paint on the body in many places from previous use, the metal parts have a patina on them, this is obviously a used vintage instrument that is still in 100% working condition. It is obviously a used item.
