This "Old Time Banjo" offers an exact replica of the Whyte Ladye's three-piece tone ring, which supports a body of three layers of maple for maximum volume. An eleven-inch Remo HC Renaissance bellows is attached to the body by a tensioning system. The instrument's Old Time character is accentuated by the vintage maple neck foot design and Fairbanks-style headstock shape. The ebony fingerboard is divided by eighteen frets and decorative position markers (Clouds). The recessed fingerboard is tailored for clawhammer playing. The strings are mounted in GT Master Planetary tuning machines and over a maple and ebony fingerboard in a No Knot. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the armrest, chrome hardware and glossy Vintage Brown finish.
The banjo comes in a case. Recommended tuning G-D-G-H-d.
