The Gold Tone BG-150F five-string banjo brings the beauty of pre-war banjos to instruments that can be described as more affordable/accessible. It is an instrument with a mahogany resonator (closed back plate), a Rolled Brass Flat Bar tone ring and a laminated maple body.
An 11-inch Remo HC Coated Topside is attached to the body by a tensioning system, i.e. a one-piece intermediate ring, a pressure ring and twenty-four hooks. The neck is maple, the rosewood fingerboard surface is divided by twenty-two frets. The strings are mounted in GT Planetary tuning machines and over a maple and ebony fingerboard in a straightline. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the engraved armrest, decorative position markers, bright ABS binding and glossy Vintage Brown finish.
The banjo is supplied in a bag. Recommended tuning G-D-G-H-d.
