Boss RC-600

The Boss RC-600 is an advanced floor looper for guitarists, multi-instrumentalists, songwriters, buskers and other musicians for whom a looper is more than just a box with a few features and a possible automatic drum machine. The RC-600 lets you capture several different microphones and instruments into six audio tracks in premium 32-bit quality, creating a complex track with many layers. You'll be able to further enliven your sound with a massive array of effects and rhythmic accompaniments. Capture it all with ultra-flexible controls that include nine footswitches with assignable functions, a clear LCD display for easy orientation and a large loop status indicator. In short, the Boss RC-600 is as comprehensive and intuitive as it gets!

On the rear panel, you'll find two XLR microphone inputs with phantom power for connecting dynamic and condenser microphones, and two pairs of instrument inputs for connecting mono or stereo instruments (connect guitar, bass, keys, effects and more here). You'll be able to assign effects to these microphones/instruments from a menu of forty-nine Input FX or effects assigned to each input. Once you start recording tracks, you can apply another set of effects from the menu of thirty-three Track FX or effects that are assigned to each track. Tempo-dependent effects (such as delay) automatically adjust to the tempo of the rhythm accompaniment or your loops. The RC-600 houses 200 rhythm accompaniment schemes and 16 different drum kits so you can always find the best accompaniment for you. It also allows you to import additional patterns from the RC Rhythm Converter software, which you can easily connect to via USB.

Looper also has 99 memory slots for storing your projects. You can also easily export these to your computer to back up all your musical ideas in one place. You can also use the USB interface to import/export phrases from Boss Tone Studio. Fans of home recording and external control will love the MIDI interface, which allows you to connect MIDI controllers or sync with your DAW. The rear panel also features two jacks for connecting external Expression pedals and a headphone output.
