Jim Dunlop's MXR Tremolo guitar effect offers intuitive controls and six cool tremolo effect sounds/modes - the organic, pulsing sound of the M159 MXR Stereo tremolo, a vintage bias tremolo as found in early 60's tube machines. Reverse optical tremolo with a reversed sound curve, the warm pulsating sound of vintage opto tremolo, modern SQR tremolo with more expressive sounds and harmonic tremolo.
Setting the sounds and control is as simple as possible. Three knobs determine the output volume and the speed and intensity of the effect modulation, and pressing the Gain knob to switch between modes. An external expression pedal or tap tempo switch can be connected to the box via the CTR connector. For more advanced features, you can also choose between true bypass/buffered bypass wiring and Envelope modem, where the response of the Speed and Depth controls depends on the dynamics of your playing/attack.
A 9V adapter is used for power, battery power is not available.
