The JHS Emperor V2 is an analog BBD chorus/vibrato effect that, in addition to the awesome 80's sound of a chorus effect and pitch vibrato that will blow the walls of your room, offers rotating speaker simulation and a choice between Tap Tempo and EXP modes, where you can connect an external expression pedal to the pedal and change the character of the effect modulation in real time.
The pedal's main controls determine output volume, EQ and the speed and intensity of the effect modulation. Two switches toggle between chorus and vibrato effect modes and three types of sound curves (sine, square, triangle). A switch inside the pedal allows you to switch between true bypass and buffered bypass circuitry. The power supply is provided by a 9V adapter, the consumption of the box corresponds to 57mA.
