The body of the LAVA U tenor ukulele is made entirely of Air Sonic carbon composite, a bionic structure composed of 142 pieces. The composite body is resistant to temperatures ranging from -20 to +60 degrees and humidity up to 90 percent. The HPL laminate fingerboard is meticulously shaped with CNC milling machines and reinforced with ultra-strong carbon fiber bracing. The strings are anchored in guitar-style mechanisms that are completely screwless machine heads.
The L2 Mini Preamp with built-in FreeBoost technology allows you to enrich your sound with Reverb, Delay and Chorus effects, and you won't even need a connection to your machine to do it. The system is similar to Yamaha Transacoustic guitars, for example, where the technology uses the back plate as a resonator for the vibrations captured by the pickup. However, the guitar also offers a standard sound system option. The pickup is recharged via a USB cable.
