The GD51CE-NAT electro-acoustic guitar is a Dreadnought with a semi-solid body construction consisting of a solid spruce soundboard and black walnut back and sides. This makes it a truly versatile instrument, or if you prefer an "all-arounder", with a rich resonant sound that can be used in a wide range of musical genres. The narrower, gently asymmetrical mahogany neck with a C profile fits your hand perfectly, together with the fig fingerboard guaranteeing high playing comfort without the threat of early fatigue due to demanding finish.
Easy voicing options are offered by Takamine electronics with built-in tuner, three-band EQ and Gain control.
The strings are held in die-cast tuning machines in a luxurious gold finish over synthetic bone fret and saddle frets and a figwood fingerboard. Split Saddle, a split compensated saddle fret, gives the guitar precise intonation. The guitar's stylish look is accentuated by practical and decorative elements in the form of a pickguard, mother-of-pearl rosette, mother-of-pearl position dots and the company logo on the headstock.
