The Seydel Blues 1847 Classic Paddy Richter harmonica offers a full, loud sound and extremely fast response thanks to its stainless steel pickups. Together with the screws and rivets on the stainless steel, they also guarantee a long service life even with frequent playing. The loudness of the harmonica is supported by the optimal shape of the plates and the very small gaps between the plates and the notes. The harmonica also offers stainless steel covers for extra comfort, completely rounded at the maple body. The body itself is varnished several times to prevent moisture absorption and warping of the wood. Careful rounding of the body surfaces separating the individual holes ensures similar playing comfort to that offered by plastic bodies.

Tradition of C. A. Seydel dates back to the mid-19th century, when, after the decline of mining in Saxony, brothers Johann Christian and Christian August Seydel decided to devote themselves to the manufacture of musical instruments. Their factory in Klingenthal soon became the leading manufacturer of harmonicas in Saxony and the surrounding area. Since then, the company has undergone a series of changes and transformations depending on the social and political environment, the most significant of which was the reunification of Germany, after which the nationalised company was returned to the family in 1991. The established brand has not disappeared from the world and continues to offer musical instruments of Made in Germany quality.
