ESP LTD M-1008 MS FM STBLKS

The eight-string M-1008 MS FM STBLKS model uses an unorthodox concept of slanted frets (variable gauge 648-686 mm), which provides the strings with optimal tension and, in the opinion of some musicians, a more natural movement of the hand on the fingerboard.

The mahogany body of the guitar is adorned with a solid flamed maple top. A five-piece maple and exotic purpleheart (amaranth) neck with a narrow, fast Thin U profile is bolted to an Ebony Macassar fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position dots.

Two custom-made Seymour Duncan passive humbuckers with ceramic and Alnico magnets and high output signal provide the instrument's sound with the necessary articulation, fullness and dynamics for singing solos or chord breakdowns, as well as density and aggressiveness for the sound of loaded riffs, breakdowns and ultra-fast guitar shred. Thanks to the push/pull tone shutter function, their coils can be split to achieve the sound of single-coil pickups. String attachment in the Hipshot's tailpiece and through the body of the instrument guarantees good sustain, while tuning stability is supported by the company's high-quality LTD Locking mechanisms.
