KORG Wavestate

The Korg Wavestate is a compact synthesizer inspired by the legendary Korg Wavestation from the 1990s. The Korg developers have prepared a unique palette of sounds and rhythms, complemented by intuitive controls that drive the entire synthesizer. Thanks to the radically redesigned Wave Sequencing 2.0 technology, Wavestate gives you countless sounds with extensive control options. The instrument is therefore suitable for music producers, players and lovers of the music of the 1990s, when bands like Depeche Mode, Toto and Genesis dominated the airwaves.

Easily expressive, exceptionally deep
Knobs and controllers are the most important part of synths, and it's this fact that Korg has really taken into account. In addition to the 16-step sequencer, a control panel awaits you with which to control and trigger effects, envelope filters, LFOs or the four-band EQ. Of course, there are a pair of chunky knobs for Pitch Blend and Tone Modulation. You can then expand your sonic arsenal even further with the vector joystick, giving your solos and melodic parts even more emphasis. All settings can be saved, so you don't have to worry about losing your favourite sound. You'll also see your effects settings on the clear display, which works in real time without any lag.

You can never have too many effects
Wavestate is suitable for every musical style, and there's truly something for everyone in the wide range of sounds. Modulation effects, compressors, countless delays and reverbs await you, whose settings and characteristics can always be adapted to the song in question. VOX guitar modulation, retro tape echo and a collection of classic guitar effects have also been added to the synthesizer to give your sound a whiff of analogue. You can spice up the aggressiveness of your sound with Lowpass and Highpass filters, the latter adjustable via two and four poles. Compared to the old Wavestation, this synth offers a thousand times more sounds, but they're hidden in a package three times smaller, so you can take the Wavestate on the train and shorten your ride by creating new sounds and recordings.

Wave Sequencing 2.0
The sequencer in Wavestate retains the organic and authentic feel of the legendary Wavestation, but has received many improvements and new features that will take your production up several levels. The sequencer features color-coded lanes that work in three modes: Timing, Sample and Pitch. This gives you countless combinations and possibilities for how your recording or loop will sound. The setup is very easy and clear, so you can create everything even during a live production in the middle of a darkened stage.
