The Radiator Faded Cream RN is an electric guitar based on the single-cut design of the American Gibson Les Paul guitars, with which it shares a number of other specifications (e.g. menza length, pickup configuration) in addition to its shape. It could thus appeal to bluesmen and rockers looking for a quality, more affordable alternative to the aforementioned American Gibsons.
The body of the guitar is made of solid Canadian silver-leaf maple wood. A rosewood fingerboard with twenty-two frets is glued to the also maple neck. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is traditionally facilitated by position dots.
Two company humbuckers provide the guitar with a driving sound with excellent articulation of individual notes/chords that will delight the soul of any rocker. Its character can be adjusted with two volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch.
The strings are mounted across the Graphtech zero fret in quality tuning machines with 18:1 (Bass side) and 26:1 (Treble side) gear ratios and a solid tailpiece and truss rod. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by a large imitation tortoiseshell pickguard.
The guitar comes in a gig bag.
