The beautiful sound of a concert grand piano

The Yamaha CVP-805 delivers the precisely sampled sound of two of the world's most acclaimed grand pianos, the CFX and Bösendorfer Imperia, transforming your living room into a concert hall so you can immerse yourself in crystal-clear highs and resonant bass. The digital piano features 1315 sounds + 49 rhythm accompaniments/SFX + 480 XG sounds for endless compositions. Also new is the Chord Looping feature, which lets you record a piano accompaniment to which you can solo, sing, or layer additional loops. You can then save your own recordings in WAV and MP3 format to the internal 2GB memory or to a connected USB flash drive.

An authentic playing experience

For the most authentic piano playing experience, the GrandTouch 88-key wooden keyboard offers a heavier finish in the lower registers and a lighter finish in the upper octaves - just like an acoustic piano.

The new Piano Room mode has been improved and now includes additional keyboard instruments, including classic electric pianos. In Session mode, you can invite three additional musicians to accompany you automatically with your harmonies in full-keyboard or split-keyboard mode. The accompaniment can also follow your changes in volume and expressiveness thanks to the Dynamics Control feature. This feature can be turned on or off at any time depending on your specific needs at the time. In this special Piano Room mode, you can also record your playing at any time at the touch of a button.

A pair of 16cm speakers offer professional binaural sound with a maximum output of 130W. You'll retain sound quality even when you put on headphones - Stereophonic Optimizer ensures a pleasantly surround sound reminiscent of playing in a room with natural reverb.

Smart Pianist app for easy learning

The Smart Pianist app for iOS analyses your favourite song stored on your mobile device and shows you the chords. This makes it easy to play the song directly with the performer. You can also set the desired piano sound directly in the app, layer sounds on top of each other, transpose, tune or adjust the pedal sensitivity.
