LINE 6 Spider V 240 HC MKII

The second series of Spider MKII modelers builds on the success of its predecessor, which was one of Line6's best-selling products. The new amplifier features a Classic Speaker mod for a more natural sound and feel, and the powerful processor has also been improved, offering a wealth of classic sounds and effects along with advanced technology. They are therefore very versatile and suitable for practice, live playing and recording. Spider MKII offers a new modern design, the front grille and knobs on the control panel have been innovated. The Artist & Song preset collection has been expanded to include artists such as Bill Kelliher, Josh Smith, Devin Townsend, Dustin Kensrue, Jeff Loomis, Ola Englund, Fluff, Jeff Schroeder, Oz Noy, Vernon Reid and more.

The latest models in the Spider V MKII series are just coming to market with a host of upgrades and a modern, minimalist design.

There are a total of 78 models and 23 cabinets to choose from, and you can further enhance their sound with 101 effects. The different types of effects are colour-coded and up to eight can be used simultaneously.

The arsenal of sounds contained in this amplifier is therefore very distinctive. For starters, there are 128 presets of popular guitar sounds that have been created by professional guitarists. Additional sounds can be downloaded or created yourself via the Spider Remote app, which is available for iOS and Android.

Of course, you can connect a 6 FBV foot controller (not included) to the amp and quickly change presets or effects directly while playing.

Forget annoying cables. All Spider V MKIIs from version 60 onwards have a built-in receiver and charger for the Relay G10 wireless transmitter (not included), so you can be free as a bird when playing.

This amplifier features a dual-band stereo sound system with two 4-inch speakers. So you can use them to enhance your cabinet sound or play without an external speaker.

Other useful features include a USB interface so you can record directly to your computer or download tones.

19 real drum loops (Drum Loops) and a metronome can be used for practice, both easily controlled with the Play/Pause button. There is also a Looper and of course a headphone output.
