These instruments are the result of years of experience of Italian craftsmen who have combined all the most desirable and popular elements to create this unique model, which thus combines simplicity, functionality and stylish vintage design. Each piece is made from the finest materials and undergoes a meticulous output check, so you can be sure that you will always get your hands on a truly top instrument.

The body of this instrument is made from select alder, which provides the ideal balance of great resonance and pleasingly light weight. The neck is made from a single piece of extra-hard flat sawn maple and finished with a vintage-style gloss lacquer, the fingerboard is made from pau ferro wood and features 20 carefully ground frets or a bone fretboard.

Sound pickups are handled by a pair of custom-made single coil pickups, perfectly complemented by the popular Markbass Instrument Pre active electronics. With this combination, you have virtually unlimited sonic possibilities, but you can always be assured of pleasingly thick bass, focused mids and clear, superbly intelligible high frequencies. In addition to volume control for each pickup, the bass is equipped with a tone shield, which is also used to switch the instrument between active and passive modes, or a three-band equalizer.

Stable tuning is guaranteed by the high-quality Markbass Custom tuning machines with a 20:1 ratio, while the strings on the other hand are anchored in a vintage-style die-cast tailpiece that guarantees long sustain and excellent vibration transfer to the body of the instrument.
