H&H's new Tessen-X Series dual-band active speaker offers great performance at an affordable price. The loudspeaker is suitable for music clubs and cultural houses, but can also be used as a mobile PA system for outdoor events.
The all-new HH TESSEN-X range represents the absolute top of the range from this British company. The Tessen-X 1201 offers the same superior features as the other models in the range: preset equalizer curves along with variable corrections, internal DSP for perfect interaction between amplifier, speakers and box, extensive protection features, impressive power handling, built-in mix or feedback suppression circuitry. All underlined by a massive, solid yet lightweight HH construction made of multi-ply plywood that can withstand even heavy loads in professional applications.
Inside the high-quality all-wood construction is a 12" Celestion TF1225 woofer and a 1.4" CDX1 tweeter, also from Celestion. The Class-D Bi-Amp amplifier with conventional cooling for quiet operation allows for a maximum power output of up to 2600W. The rear offers a mixing console with two inputs, a two-band EQ and each channel has a Gain control. There's also a four-mode switch depending on the placement or use of the speaker (Flat, Bass, Monitor, Vocal) and an Anti-Feedback mode to prevent adverse feedback from microphones and loud instruments. The front of the speaker is protected by a high quality 1.5mm metal grill.
The TNX-1201 can be placed on a speaker stand, mounted to a suspension system using three M10 threads or used asymmetrically for an in-ear monitor at an angle of up to 35°.
