The body of the guitar is made of poplar. The bolted maple neck with a narrower C profile is glued to a fig wood fingerboard with a modern flatter radius (12") fitted with twenty-one Narrow Tall frets. Orientation on the fingerboard surface is traditionally facilitated by position dots.
Two proprietary active humbuckers with ceramic magnets and high output signal provide the guitar with a modern sound perfect for any variety of modern rock music. Volume potentiometers, tone shutters and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound settings. Tuning stability is ensured by the die-cast string mounts and adjustable tailpiece and truss rod, so you can safely use lower tuning or drop tuning. The visual aspect of the instrument is suitably complemented by black chrome hardware, a black three-layer pickguard and a headstock colour-coordinated with the body.
The name Jazzmaster clearly suggests the original intention and purpose of this electric guitar with its typical offset body shape, but it has gained popularity elsewhere - among musicians from the alternative music scene, from surf rock to indie rock.
