The Kilt V2 is a flexible guitar overdrive/distortion/fuzz pedal that is sure to please guitarists with a wider range of genres. In addition to the traditional knobs, it offers three lever switches that have a pretty significant effect on the resulting sound. Cut/Flat works as a bass cut, while the G1 and G2 switches work as two separate overdrive modes. In the bottom position, it offers perfectly decent vintage overdrive, G1 in the top position offers classic rock crunch, and G2 in the same position adds a bit more rock spice. Both switches fired up delivers a thick distortion with a cool dirty fuzz character. The box thus manages to appeal from bluesmen to players of the dirtiest rock offshoots.
