The body is made of nine layers of Baltic birch with a thickness of 12 millimeters, thanks to which the cajon produces a rich and warm bass sound with a clearly defined onset of tone. Of course, the string is included to enrich your playing with a typical snare drum-like sound, only in a more subdued form. All of the cajon's edges are rounded for maximum playing comfort, which you'll especially appreciate on the top edge of the soundboard, providing a much better contact surface while maintaining maximum comfort.
