The back, sides and headstock are decorated with a shadowed burst finish. The guitar's mahogany neck is fitted with a Richlite composite fingerboard with twenty-one frets. Orientation is traditionally facilitated by position dots. The lower cutaway offers good matching even at higher fretboard positions.
The guitar's sound is provided by a Godin G1T preamp with volume control, two-band EQ and built-in tuner. Stability of tuning is guaranteed by closed chrome-plated mechanisms. The strings, on the other hand, are mounted in an ebony fingerboard. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell, decorative rosette, white trim and logo on the headstock.
The history of the Canadian company Seagul dates back to 1982 and its philosophy is clear - to produce instruments using concepts known from custom guitar manufacturing so that even hard-working musicians can afford them. As a result, Seagul instruments are characterised by the use of solid woods and elaborate finishes, for example, so that they impress in both sound and appearance.
