The orchestral model of the T396-A tenor trombone was made in collaboration with the world's leading trombonist Joseph Alessi. The final form is the result of extensive testing of the individual components and their sonic characteristics. Unlike other models with the possibility of customization, this is a trombone directly "tailored" to the body of the famous trombonist.
The body of this trombone is made of yellow brass with a clear lacquer finish. It has a silver mouthpiece, outer lowers and tuning cukes made of pink brass, a quart connection with Rotax rotary valve and a harmonic bridge. This innovation significantly expands the sonic possibilities of the instrument. Depending on the fitting of this harmonic bridge with different length screws (nickel or brass), the trombone's playing characteristics and sound colouration change. Thus, the sound and response of the instrument can be adjusted for a specific musical genre or acoustic environment.
The instrument cover is not included, it must be ordered separately.
