The dB Technologies SUB 618 is an active subwoofer equipped with a 600 W RMS Class D amplifier that, combined with an 18" driver, delivers excellent sound pressure levels (up to 133 dB). Despite its very compact dimensions and low weight (only 31.1 kg), it delivers impressively accurate low-end reproduction.
The remarkable sonic performance of the SUB 600 series subwoofers allows the user to build most PA systems with 1 separate subwoofer and 2 full-range speakers, avoiding the need for any external signal processing or crossover. The assembly connects directly via two separate balanced inputs (XLR) and two balanced outputs (XLR).
Controls on the amplifier panel allow the user to operate with a mono or stereo sound source, activate polarity inversion and select the output interconnect mode (True Bypass or X-Over). Whenever bass needs to be emphasized, low frequency gain can be adjusted via the Sub BOOST Mode switch.
The wooden cabinet features recessed handles and an M20 handle on the top.
