The fact that Reverb and Tremolo make an irresistible combination was already known by the instrument manufacturers in the 1960s. Strymon put these popular effects into a compact box with a powerful SHARC DSP, shook it up, and the resulting combination is a sonically refined effect with a wide range of settings.
There are three Tremolo types and three Reverbs from different historical periods. Tremolo is represented by the 61 Harmonic Tremolo, 63 Power Tube Tremolo and 65 Photocell Tremolo, tremolos modulated in different ways with a vintage touch.
The Reverb is represented by the 60s Spring Tank Reverb, 70s Electronic Plate and 80s Hall Rack models. Thus, none of the basic types of instruments used to produce artificial reverb are missing.
With the Tremolo you can control the intensity and speed, with the Reverb the reverb strength and colour. The mix control is used to adjust the ratio of the effect to the clean signal.
The Strymon Flint is a very well crafted effect that will give your sound the vibrancy and color of honestly made machines from several decades.
