The Eventide MixingLink can be simply described as a compact microphone preamp with an effects loop, but its applications are much more extensive. It is a DI box, headphone amplifier, A/B box and mixer at the same time. It's a wonder this box didn't see the light of day a long time ago.
How can you use the Eventide MixinLink?
- Plug in a microphone and send your signal to a PA, combo or recording device
- Use the effects loop to add effects to your vocals/tool
- Start the effect chain with the press of a button
- The ratio of effects to clean signal can be adjusted
- Plug in your electric guitar with effects and practice in silence with headphones wherever you are
- Plug in two instruments and switch between them
- Sound one instrument with two instruments
- Connect backing tracks from your mobile device and control vocal/instrument volume
- The 3.5mm TRRS connector works bi-directionally - so the signal can be processed by effects apps
- Use MixingLink as a mixer with four inputs (two instruments, vocals, tablet)
MixngLink operates on a 9V battery or when powered by an adapter. Phantom power is available when connected to the mains. There is a GND/Lift switch and signal input sensitivity adjustment.
