With a more compact Concert Hall-type shape, this guitar is ideal for fingerstyle playing, but of course it will also do well with a pick. Its soundboard is made from pressure-tested solid spruce, and is adorned with an impressive gloss finish in a darker Burnt Umber finish. The back and sides are made from over-milled veneered maple. A rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one frets adjoins the maple neck. Orientation is traditionally facilitated by position dots. The lower cutaway offers good matching even at higher fretboard positions.
The guitar is sounded by a Godin G1T preamp with volume control, two-band EQ and built-in tuner. Stability of tuning is guaranteed by quality sealed mechanics. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by a decorative rosette, bright trim and logo on the headstock. The guitar comes in a high-quality padded gig bag.
The history of the Canadian company Seagul dates back to 1982 and its philosophy is clear - to produce instruments using concepts known from custom guitar manufacturing so that even hard-working musicians can afford them. As a result, Seagul instruments are characterised by the use of solid woods and elaborate finishes, for example, so that they impress in both sound and appearance.
