The Dunlop EVH is a classic "quacker" from the Cry Baby series built to the specifications of the "Holy Grail" wah pedal, a modified Cry Baby model that Eddie Van Halen had modified sometime in the early 1990s. It offers a more vocal wah effect character and more frequency clipping with clearly defined mids. Plus, of course, the requisite graphics that make you instantly associate the pedal with the Eddie Van Halen persona.
All the electronics are hidden in a solid metal chassis. The pedal is wired as a true bypass, so it doesn't affect the pass-through signal in the off state. Power is supplied by a 9V battery or 9V adapter.
