Black Suede muds are made of specially developed materials that positively influence sound, feel and durability. Thanks to the texture on both sides of the bellows, the sound is a combination of the clear tone and resonance of the clean bellows and the great articulation of the midrange frequencies of the sand bellows. The Black version differs from the regular Suede by using the black layer known from the Ebony blanks. Specifically, the Ambassador series offers medium-weight bellows made from a single 10 mil, or 10 thousandths of an inch, thick layer of Mylar. Their sound is brassy, warm, resonant and with great attack. The tone color is very bright and the sustain is very long. They are popular for studio and live playing.
