The RODE SC2 is a high quality shielded cable with 3.5mm TRS (small jack) connectors.
The cable length ranges from 170 mm to 400 mm and features right-angle refracted connectors for better ergonomics in use.
It's ideal for connecting the iPhone output to a DSLR or camcorder to create a 'landmark' audio track to the video being recorded, while the iPhone records audio at the highest quality using the iXY microphone (using the RODE Rec app, the iXY stereo microphone can record at up to 24bit/96kHz).
