BLACKSTAR LT-DUAL

The Blackstar LT series of floor effects pedals builds on the very popular and acclaimed HT series - but now offers its qualities in a more compact and, more importantly, more affordable package!

All of these pedals use patent-pending Clipping Circuit technology to simulate tube amp behaviour as closely as possible, even without the use of tubes. Some models use Blackstar's well-known ISF system, which is used to change the character of the tones between the so-called "American" and "British" sound. The electronics of these effects are protected by a durable metal chassis, a bypass buffer and a high quality silent switch are used, and both an adapter and a 9-volt battery can be used for power.

Specifically, the LT Dual is a dual effects pedal, so it offers two independent effects units. The first offers anything from a light booster to a juicy overdrive, while the second can handle anything from biting crunch to great singing hi-gain distortion. There's a separate switch to switch each unit, so the two can be combined. It's built to work great with dynamics and offer the highest quality tone.

Six potentiometers are used to control it - the base consists of Gain setting the level of distortion and Level determining the volume of the sound, these controls are separate for each channel of the effect, supplemented by the Tone control working with equalization especially in the treble area and the aforementioned ISF.
