NX 10-SMA is equipped with a new 10"/1" coaxial speaker with neodymium magnet. Thanks to the coaxial driver, the resulting sound is highly intelligible and detailed, yet balanced throughout the coverage area, and the speaker is very compact and lightweight. Further contributing to the light weight is a lightweight but efficient 300+100 W amplifier operating in Class D and powered by a switching power supply.
The NX 10-SMA can be used not only as a stage monitor, but also as a classic full-range speaker on a stand. To accommodate these mutually different applications, the speaker is equipped with a switch for the following equalization modes:
The soundboard is constructed of Baltic birch plywood and protected from the harsh conditions of mobile use by an extremely durable coating. The ergonomic handle integrated into the connection panel facilitates transport, while a steel flange is located on the opposite side for mounting the speaker on a stand.
