The Artis Series cardioid condenser instrument microphone features a special side-address pencil design that offers countless microphone placement options and ensures the microphone won't get in the way. It features a switchable integrated 80Hz bass filter allowing the change from a flat waveform to a waveform with low frequency clipping, and a switchable 10dB attenuation that reduces microphone sensitivity, providing the ability to handle higher sound pressure levels (SPL). Due to its versatility, the ATM450 will find its use with a wide variety of artists and in a wide range of sound system configurations. The microphone's extended flat frequency range is ideal for high SPL sensing, as well as live and amplified acoustic instruments.
