AKG WMS470 Sports Set-b1

The WMS 470 Sports Set includes the SR 470 receiver, PT 470 bodypack transmitter and C 544 L headset microphone. It can transmit on 16 different channels within a single frequency band, allowing up to 48 simultaneous channels when different frequency bands are used. The display changes backlight color in critical situations such as low battery in the transmitter, clipping or low signal. Audio clarity is guaranteed by a reference compander directly from AKG, and transmitter setup is easy via infrared transmission.

The PT 470 transmitter has the form of a classic bodypack, but in addition to the standard functions, it offers for example 50mW of transmit power or setting the transmission frequency via the infrared port. It promises up to 14 hours of operation per battery and can be charged directly in the device thanks to charging contacts. There is also a battery status indication and, of course, a power switch.

The included AKG C 544 L microphone has an ergonomically shaped occipital bridge and a moisture barrier. It is a condenser microphone with a cardioid characteristic.
