RODE NT55

Although it is an instrument microphone, the NT55 is very good for situations where a small "unobtrusive" but effective microphone is required to meet the demands of demanding recording systems. The NT55 is fitted with the 1/2" (slide-on) condenser microphone cartridge already used in the world famous RODE NT5 microphone. The NT55 presents a new level of technology, low noise and wide dynamic range. The NT55 features a three-position input sensitivity switch of 0, -10 or -20 dB, and a three-position frequency filter that allows for 75 or 150 Hz settings. It is made for use in television, film, live broadcast, theatre or for creating any recording in any environment. It comes in a set with two different condenser microphone inserts to provide a wide variety of recordings. A variety of accessories are offered with the NT55 microphone to make it easy to position and connect the microphone to your recording equipment.
