Specifically, this bongo drum is handmade from a selection of so-called Rubber Wood, which is the wood of the Hevea brasiliensis tree, and a selection of water buffalo skin is used for the soundboard - a completely ideal material for achieving a balanced sound. The diameter of the smaller drum is 6.75 inches, the diameter of the larger one is equivalent to 8 inches. This version has a Natural finish.
The steel hardware is chrome plated. The SSR-Rims are 2.5 millimeters thick, the shells are even 8 millimeters thick. For optimum sound, the patented MEINL Free Ride Suspension System is used. The drums come with a tuning wrench, oil for lubrication and an accessory bag.
