FENDER Eric Johnson Stratocaster MN WB

This Stratocaster is the signature model of the famous guitar equilibrist Eric Johnson. All the elements of this instrument are modeled exactly according to the artist's design and sound ideas (from the specially set pickups, neck and body shape to the tremolo), whose characteristic tone and feel are easily recognizable among thousands of other great players. With this guitar, it's easy to ride the waves of the ocean crashing against the cliffs of Dover - with what result depending entirely on your playing ability.

The instrument's lightweight (chambered) body is made from two pieces of alder. A thin lacquer made of nitrocellulose allows the wood to breathe and thus improves its resonance properties. A neck made of one piece of maple cut perpendicular to the flights (quarter sawn) is bolted to the body. Twenty-one Medium Jumbo frets divide the fingerboard surface. The sharper "V" profile of the 1950s-style neck is ideal for guitarists with larger fingers, whose left thumb extends over the edge of the fingerboard most of the time. The distinctly flatter fingerboard radius (12 inches) is ideal for fast playing and bending techniques, i.e. pulling out notes effectively.

The guitar is fitted with three specially tuned single-coil pickups to give you the magical tone of Eric Johnson guitars. Two tone controls, a volume potentiometer and a five-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound

The strings are held in vintage-style enclosed mechanisms and a synchronized single-turn tremolo with six separate saddles. An interesting feature is the missing cover (there are no screw holes) on the back of the guitar revealing the springs of the tremolo mechanics. The stylish look of the guitar is accentuated by the logo on the headstock and the white single-layer pickguard, which also protects the lacquer from scratches.
