ROLAND AC-60 ACOUSTIC CHORUS
Roland Acoustic Chorus is a series of transistor combos designed specifically for acoustic guitars, possibly accompanied by a microphone or other signal source. Their design is based on Roland's experience with the legendary Jazz Chorus, only everything is tailored to give the sound the strengths of acoustic instruments.
The AC-60 is a model equipped with an end-amplifier capable of delivering 2x 30 watts of power, which is then transformed into sound by two 6.5-inch speakers. It offers two channels, the first of which is dedicated to the guitar and the second to a microphone or other signal source.
The controls are located on the top panel. For the guitar channel, there is of course a built-in input, a volume control and then a 3-band equalizer consisting of Bass, Middle and Treble. A stereo chorus can be activated. There is also a Shape switch to adjust the equalization and a Magnetic / Piezo switch to adjust to the type of pickup.
The microphone channel contains a Combo-Jack XLR connector with phantom power and a. Here too there is a volume control and a 3-band equalizer. Chorus can also be enabled for this channel.
In the master section, in addition to the Master Volume, there is a built-in Reverb/Delay control and the aforementioned Chorus. The AC of course includes anti-feedback.
The rear of the unit contains inputs for footswitches, which can be used to control anti-feedback, reverb and chorus, in addition to a power jack. There are also stereo XLR and mono 6.3 mm Jack Line-Out, Aux-In in 2x 6.3 mm Jack and stereo RCA and DI/Tuner outputs. You'll also be pleased with the high-quality transport bag that's included.
