The front of the guitar is made of plywood spruce, while the back and sides are made of plywood figured walnut with a nice wood grain that contrasts with the color finish of the top. Glued to the okoumé neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty frets. Orientation around its surface is traditionally facilitated by position markers, including a distinctive inlay on the twelfth fret. The strings are mounted in the company's Die-Cast mechanics and ebony fingerboard over a plastic fretboard and saddle.
The American company Washburn has been making acoustic instruments for a really long time - since 1883. In that time, it has created countless guitars, mandolins, banjos and accumulated a wealth of experience.
