The VOX Continental offers excellent organ and electric and acoustic piano sounds, controls with quick switching between sounds, equalization or layer and split functions adapted for live performance, a warm tube sound with Nutube vacuum tube, a semi-weighted keyboard and a refined look. It comes with a stand and volume pedal, so you get everything you need for the perfect performance.

Sophisticated controls
The control offers the ability to quickly switch between the Organ, E. Piano, Piano and Key/Layer without having to delve into the depths of complex menus. Controls are made even easier by touch bars with LED indication that work depending on the section selected. In the case of the organ, they can be used as normal pushbuttons to modulate the sound. They also allow the adjustment of equalization, filter, EG and other parameters.

Excellent sounds
The ORGAN bank contains three different sound modules - a reproduction of the original 1960s transistor VOX Continental (VOX), the sound of another memorable model from that era (COMPACT) and a faithful emulation of a classic Korg organ (CX-3). All sounds offer the ability to add vibrato/chorus and rotary speaker simulation with the flip of a switch. The VOX and CX-3 allow you to split the keyboard at the touch of a button.

E. PIANO enriches your arrangements with three TINE engines full of metallic sounds, REED with vibrating whistles and FM that takes you back to the 80s and their soundtracks.

PIANO also offers three engins - GRAND with a distinctive string resonance, UPRIGHT for a drier and controlled piano sound and E. GRAND with an electric grand piano sound that won't get lost in any style of pop music.

The collection is rounded out by a Key/Layer index with sounds suitable for any occasion arranged in six sections - Key, Brass, Strings, Lead, Synth. Other.

All sounds can be embellished with an effects unit containing popular and well-crafted effects such as chorus, flanger, phaser, comp, drive and wah.

Tube warmth
To ensure the sound doesn't lack warmth and clarity, the piano is equipped with a KORG Nutube vacuum tube, which gives the sound a subtle draw with rich harmonies and a "thickness" you can't produce with any digital emulation.

There is a semi-weighted, edgeless keyboard that allows for popular techniques such as glissandos and trills. In addition, its dynamic response can be infinitely adjusted via a rotary potentiometer. Of course, sixteen scenes can be quickly recalled (4 in four banks, can be stored on USB flash memory).

The VOX Continental comes complete with a handy stand (ST-Continental) that allows easy adjustment of the pitch or tilt of the instrument and a volume pedal (V861) for volume control or built-in quacker.
