Vintage electric guitars from the ICON series offer the refined design and feel of instruments played over the years, i.e. finishes with both subtle and more pronounced elements of artificial patina. The T model V62MRBK thus boasts a number of battle scratches, scratched lacquer and distinctive patina elements on all hardware.
Bolted to the instrument's poplar body is a maple neck with a pleasing "Soft C" profile. Twenty-two Medium-size frets divide the fingerboard surface made of Lignum Rosa (laminated wood), a composite material similar in properties and appearance to rosewood.
Two single-coil Wilkinson pickups with Alnico magnets give the guitar an authentic "twang". The sound can be adjusted using the standard volume and tone controls and a three-position toggle switch. The strings are anchored by Wilkinson E-Z-Lok mechanics and a classic ashtray bridge with three saddles and string attachment through the body.
At a very attractive price, Vintage's electric guitars offer excellent workmanship and performance that you would find in much more expensive models. These instruments play really well and won't disappoint you with their looks either.
