This item requires professional installation. The paired tubes are only a guarantee that the power is evenly distributed between them. However, individual paired pairs (or quads) vary considerably in their performance even within the same brand and therefore the operating point of the amplifier should ALWAYS be checked and adjusted if necessary after changing tubes. Failure to do so runs a high risk of thermal overload and significantly shortened life, which is not covered by warranty. We are happy to adjust the operating point of the amplifier in our service department.
