A two channel bass amp that was based on a pair of popular SansAmp Character Series VT Bass analog pedals. As with this pedal, both of the channels allow you to dial in a specific sound using three-band EQs and a high-range distortion potentiometer. The Character control dramatically changes the overall tone, so it's easy to achieve both completely clean tones and massively distorted sounds. What's more, with the supplied three-button footswitch you can not only switch channels, but also combine them.
In addition to an effects loop, a pair of speaker outputs, a tuner output with mute function and a DI output, there's also a handy Gain switch to easily adjust the instrument input to active bass guitars or, conversely, instruments with low output pickups. Along with the footswitch, a rack mounting kit is also included.
The version for the European market features a different type of terminal amplifier compared to the US version. The ROHS regulation does not allow the use of materials such as lead, so the manufacturer has chosen an amplifier in class D. Thanks to this, several kilograms of weight have been saved.
