Taylor acoustic and electro-acoustic guitars are the most famous, but the company also produces semi-acoustic models.

The Baby series indicates that it is a smaller version of the classic dreadnought (3/4) type. It is thus a very compact instrument that still retains great sound characteristics. The soundboard of this electro-acoustic guitar is made of solid Sitka spruce, while the rest of the body is made of laminated Sapele wood. Sapele wood was used for the neck. The fingerboard is ebony and features 19 frets. Ebony wood was also used for the headstock and the menusure corresponds to 578 mm.
The guitar is equipped with high-quality Expression System Baby electronics based on the special Expression System 2 system, which allows for more faithful sound pickups using three piezo pickups located behind the neck. The preamp has a built-in tuner.
